Greece has abolished the Enfia property tax for 26 small islands as part of a tax relief measures announced by the government aimed at giving a lift to the country's economy that is wallowing deep in recession due to the pandemic.
Property owners are set to receive from the tax office in coming days notice of payment for this year's Enfia bill that includes broader reductions announ
ced last year.
The Finance Ministry has yet to formally announced the 26 islands that will benefit from the tax cuts, but according to Greek press reports they are:
